Please hold this date for the September 2017 GRIT meeting. The focus of this meeting will be an overview of research conducted by PSU students that will be shared at the 2017 Cities Alive Conference the previous week. Topics will include the effects of substrate depth on plant species composition/success, grass remediation, and the effect of roof type on air flow/pollutant uptake. 

The second half of the meeting will introduce a project with students from the University of Portland. For the 2018 school year the UP engineering department will be evaluating options to redesign the ecoroof at Shiley Hall, and GRIT has agreed to participate as industry advisor.
